Better Access to School Council information on the TDSB website – PIAC motion
PIAC passed a motion recommending to the Board that they make website adjustments to their Parents & Caregivers tab of direct links that includes a button to the School Councils page. The motion also recommended rearranging the link buttons to better prioritize search topics:
- To better serve the parents & caregivers of the TDSB in searching for School Council resources, PIAC recommends that TDSB to add a direct link button in the Parents & Caregivers Tab to the School Councils section of their external website.
- We also recommend that the direct link buttons in the Parents & Caregivers tab be rearranged to prioritize Parent Engagement by placing School Council information, Mental Health & Well-Being resources, PIAC, Get Engaged, Special Education and Questions & Concerns closest to the top.
The PCCEO is going to take this task on.
