School Council Banking Transition to CIBC

CIBC is the new TDSB school banking partner. Alterna accounts were migrated to CIBC in August 2024. Alterna accounts are now closed. If you had an Alterna bank account, your account was moved in kind. No cost package for School Councils includes online banking, cheque processing, electronic deposits and in branch deposits. Your Banking Starter Kit can be collected from your Principal. It includes:

  • Cheques
  • Deposit stamp
  • Bank token
  • Deposit book
  • Deposit bags
  • Coin rollers

Copies of all forms, instructions on how to activate your bank token and a link to CIBC online banking are on the site.
