Letter to the Minister of Education re Updates to the School Council Handbook
PIAC passed a motion to send a letter to the Minister of Education requesting that they update their “School Councils – A Guide for Members” handbook (last updated in 2002) to reflect the current environment around electronic communication and Parent Involvement Committees.
Better Access to School Council information on the TDSB website – PIAC motion
PIAC passed a motion recommending to the Board that they make website adjustments to their Parents & Caregivers tab of direct links that includes a button to the School Councils page. The motion also recommended rearranging the link buttons to better prioritize search topics: The PCCEO is going to take this task on.
